2016 – ongoing

Medizinhilfe Laos is a tiny medical aid NGO based in Germany doing the majority of their work in the southeast asian country Laos. The organization is led by Isabelle and Volker Schoeffl, both experienced doctors in the areas of pediatric/neonatal care and trauma surgery. Over a number of years, we documented their work and ended up editing a 45 minute documentary film which has won numerous awards. An article about the Schoeffls was published in National Geographic, which included photos taken by Kilian.
